How to connect ChatGPT to Bybit

Step 1: add TraderWAI to ChatGPT

Requires a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise) with developer mode enabled.

Open ChatGPT on the web and go to Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings.
Turn on «Developer mode».
Back in Apps & Connectors, click «Create» (or «Add connector»).
Name: TraderWAI. URL: https://mcp.traderwai.com. Authentication: OAuth.
Click «Create» and sign in with Google to authorize access.
In a new chat, enable TraderWAI from the «+» menu → Developer mode.

Step 2: connect your Bybit account

In TraderWAI go to Settings → Broker accounts → Add account and choose Bybit.

Create an API key in Bybit with only «Contract → Orders & Positions» (never withdrawals), ideally restricted to IP 187.7.69.7, and paste the key and secret.

Bybit works on the free plan: unlimited charts and analysis, and 5 order executions per day.

Step 3: ask ChatGPT

Open a new chat and try, for example:

«Show me the BTC/USDT 4H chart and the key support and resistance levels.»
«What is my balance and which positions do I have open?»
«If Bitcoin closes an H1 candle above yesterday's high, prepare a buy with the stop below that candle.»
