How to connect Gemini to Bybit

Step 1: add TraderWAI to Gemini

Connects through Gemini CLI (Gemini in your terminal). You need it installed.

In your terminal run: gemini mcp add --transport http traderwai https://mcp.traderwai.com
Open Gemini CLI and type /mcp auth traderwai to sign in.
Authorize access with Google in the browser.
Type /mcp to confirm TraderWAI shows as connected.

Step 2: connect your Bybit account

In TraderWAI go to Settings → Broker accounts → Add account and choose Bybit.

Create an API key in Bybit with only «Contract → Orders & Positions» (never withdrawals), ideally restricted to IP 187.7.69.7, and paste the key and secret.

Bybit works on the free plan: unlimited charts and analysis, and 5 order executions per day.

Step 3: ask Gemini

Open a new chat and try, for example:

«What is my balance and which positions do I have open?»
