How to connect Cursor to your FundedNext account

1. Add TraderWAI to Cursor

Works in Cursor (Agent).

1. In Cursor go to Settings → Tools & MCP → «Add new MCP server».
2. Or paste the configuration below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
3. Click «Login» / «Connect» next to traderwai and sign in with Google.
4. Use the chat in Agent mode and ask for what you need.

2. Connect your FundedNext account

In TraderWAI, add your FundedNext account with the platform it uses:

3. Ask Cursor

Try one of these in a new chat:

• «Show me the gold H1 chart and tell me where the key levels are.»
• «What positions do I have open and how much am I risking?»
• «Prepare a buy limit on EUR/USD at yesterday's low with a 20-pip stop and a 2R target. I'll approve it.»

FundedNext with your AI, step by step

FundedNext accounts run on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader or Match-Trader, and TraderWAI connects all four. Because FundedNext restricts EAs and automated trading, use your AI to analyse and prepare orders, and approve each one yourself.

1. Add https://mcp.traderwai.com to your AI as a custom connector (MCP server).
2. Take the login, password and server from your FundedNext credentials email or dashboard.
3. In TraderWAI add it as MetaTrader (Trader plan), cTrader with your cTrader ID, or Match-Trader with its email, password and platform address (both on the free plan).
4. Keep auto-execution off and set risk limits that match your FundedNext account's daily loss and drawdown.

Every order carries a stop loss, is checked against your risk limits and waits for your approval unless you turn on auto-execution for that symbol.

FundedNext and TraderWAI: what to know

• FundedNext offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, Match-Trader and cTrader for its CFD accounts (TradingView only for analysis); TraderWAI connects all four. Traders from the USA can only use Match-Trader.
• Your login details are in the credentials email and in your FundedNext account dashboard. Type the server exactly as shown: FundedNext-Server or FundedNext-Server 2 for paid accounts, FundedNext-Server 3 for free trial and competition accounts.
• FundedNext has a free trial on MT5 (Match-Trader for US clients) that lasts 14 calendar days from your first trade.
• Check FundedNext's automation rules before using AI: from $50K accounts must be traded manually, with no EAs, bots or automated tools, and EAs or automated trading are not allowed on cTrader or Match-Trader at any size. Giving a third party access to your account or using an account management service is also prohibited.

Respect the rules of your FundedNext challenge

Breaking a rule can cost you the account. In TraderWAI you set risk limits that are checked before any order reaches your broker:

• Maximum daily loss and maximum position size.
• Maximum drawdown and maximum risk per trade (which requires a stop loss on the order).
• Daily limits on the number of orders.
• Orders always need your approval unless you allow auto-execution for a symbol.
