How to connect Gemini to cTrader
With TraderWAI, Gemini can read live charts, check your cTrader account and prepare orders with stop loss and take profit that you approve. It takes about 2 minutes and you don't need to install anything on your computer.

Step 1: add TraderWAI to Gemini
Connects through Gemini CLI (Gemini in your terminal). You need it installed.
- In your terminal run: gemini mcp add --transport http traderwai https://mcp.traderwai.com
- Open Gemini CLI and type /mcp auth traderwai to sign in.
- Authorize access with Google in the browser.
- Type /mcp to confirm TraderWAI shows as connected.
Step 2: connect your cTrader account
In TraderWAI go to Settings → Broker accounts → Add account and choose cTrader.
Click «Connect with cTrader» and sign in with your cTrader ID. You don't share your password with TraderWAI.
cTrader works on the free plan: unlimited charts and analysis, and 5 order executions per day.
Step 3: ask Gemini
Open a new chat and try, for example:
- «Show me the gold H1 chart and tell me where the key levels are.»
- «What positions do I have open and how much am I risking?»
- «Prepare a buy limit on EUR/USD at yesterday's low with a 20-pip stop and a 2R target. I'll approve it.»

Does Gemini place orders on its own?
Only if you want it to. By default every order needs your approval. You can also allow automatic execution for specific symbols, always within the risk limits you set.
Is my cTrader account safe?
Your credentials are encrypted (AES-256) and the key is kept on a separate server. TraderWAI only acts on your account as you instruct and never requests withdrawal permissions.
