How to connect Cursor to your ThinkMarkets account

With TraderWAI, Cursor can read live charts, check your ThinkMarkets account and prepare orders with stop loss and take profit that you approve. Setup takes a few minutes.

1. Add TraderWAI to Cursor

Works in Cursor (Agent).

In Cursor go to Settings → Tools & MCP → «Add new MCP server».
Or paste the configuration below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
Click «Login» / «Connect» next to traderwai and sign in with Google.
Use the chat in Agent mode and ask for what you need.

2. Connect your ThinkMarkets account

In TraderWAI, add your ThinkMarkets account with the platform it uses:

MetaTrader 5

Enter your MetaTrader 5 login (account number), the master password and the server name exactly as it appears in MetaTrader. The account is set up in 1–3 minutes.

ThinkMarkets and TraderWAI: what to know

ThinkMarkets offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 besides its own ThinkTrader platform. TraderWAI connects MT4 and MT5 accounts; ThinkTrader is not connected directly.
A ThinkTrader account and an MT4/MT5 account are separate accounts at ThinkMarkets: to use your AI you need the MetaTrader one.
ThinkMarkets MetaTrader servers are ThinkMarkets-Live and ThinkMarkets-Demo.
