How to connect Cursor to your HFM account

1. Add TraderWAI to Cursor

Works in Cursor (Agent).

In Cursor go to Settings → Tools & MCP → «Add new MCP server».
Or paste the configuration below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
Click «Login» / «Connect» next to traderwai and sign in with Google.

2. Connect your HFM account

In TraderWAI, add your HFM account with the platform it uses:

Enter your MetaTrader 5 login (account number), the master password and the server name exactly as it appears in MetaTrader. The account is set up in 1–3 minutes.

3. Ask Cursor

HFM and TraderWAI: what to know

HFM offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, plus HFM WebTrader and the HFM App, which work with the same accounts. TraderWAI connects your HFM MT4 or MT5 account.
Your trading account ID, trader's password and server arrive by email when you open a live or demo account. MT4 and MT5 credentials are separate: each platform has its own.
HFM servers are numbered, for example HFMarketsGlobal-Live1 or HFMarketsGlobal-Demo for MT5 and HFMarketsSV-Live Server 3 for MT4; type the one from your email exactly.
HFM symbol names carry a suffix that depends on the account type, for example EURUSDc on Cent or EURUSDr on Pro accounts, and none on Premium. Ask your AI to list symbols if one isn't found.
HFM demo accounts come with virtual funds, so you can try your AI on a demo first.

What Cursor can do with your HFM account

Can I connect Claude or ChatGPT to HFM?

Yes. Add TraderWAI to Claude or ChatGPT (free plans work) and connect your HFM MT4 or MT5 account with its account ID, trader's password and server. MetaTrader accounts are included from the Trader plan; charts and analysis are free. TraderWAI is independent and not affiliated with HFM.

Which HFM server do I enter?

The one in the email HFM sent when you opened the account (for example HFMarketsGlobal-Live1), written exactly. MT4 and MT5 accounts use different servers and credentials.
