How to connect Cursor to your Exness account

1. Add TraderWAI to Cursor

Works in Cursor (Agent).

1. In Cursor go to Settings → Tools & MCP → «Add new MCP server».
2. Or paste the configuration below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
3. Click «Login» / «Connect» next to traderwai and sign in with Google.
4. Use the chat in Agent mode and ask for what you need.

2. Connect your Exness account

In TraderWAI, add your Exness account with the platform it uses:

The platforms each firm offers can change; check which one your account uses in your Exness dashboard.

3. Ask Cursor

Try one of these in a new chat:

• «Show me the gold H1 chart and tell me where the key levels are.»
• «What positions do I have open and how much am I risking?»
• «Prepare a buy limit on EUR/USD at yesterday's low with a 20-pip stop and a 2R target. I'll approve it.»

Exness with your AI, step by step

Exness accounts connect to TraderWAI as MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 accounts. TraderWAI is the MCP server in the middle: your AI talks to TraderWAI, and TraderWAI talks to your Exness MT4/MT5 account from the cloud, with no EA to install.

1. Add https://mcp.traderwai.com to your AI as a custom connector (MCP server).
2. In your Exness Personal Area → My accounts, note the account number and the server of the MT4 or MT5 account (a numbered name such as Exness-MT5Real30, or a Trial server for a demo).
3. In TraderWAI go to Settings → Broker accounts → Add account → MetaTrader and enter the account number, the trading password and that server. The first connection takes 1–3 minutes.
4. MetaTrader accounts are included in the Trader plan; charts and analysis are free on every plan.

Every order carries a stop loss, is checked against your risk limits and waits for your approval unless you turn on auto-execution for that symbol.

Exness and TraderWAI: what to know

• Exness offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5; those are the accounts you connect to TraderWAI. Its own Exness Terminal and Exness Trade app are not connected directly.
• Exness has free demo accounts, so you can try your AI on a demo first.
• Exness assigns the trading server to each account and shows it in your Personal Area → My accounts. Type it exactly as shown there or in MetaTrader (a numbered name such as Exness-MT5Real30), including Real or Trial.
• If you paste an Exness server name in the TradeLocker or Match-Trader form, TraderWAI warns you: Exness accounts are connected as MetaTrader.
