How to connect Cursor to your Axi account

1. Add TraderWAI to Cursor

Works in Cursor (Agent).

1. In Cursor go to Settings → Tools & MCP → «Add new MCP server».
2. Or paste the configuration below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
3. Click «Login» / «Connect» next to traderwai and sign in with Google.
4. Use the chat in Agent mode and ask for what you need.

2. Connect your Axi account

In TraderWAI, add your Axi account with the platform it uses:

The platforms each firm offers can change; check which one your account uses in your Axi dashboard.

3. Ask Cursor

Try one of these in a new chat:

• «Show me the gold H1 chart and tell me where the key levels are.»
• «What positions do I have open and how much am I risking?»
• «Prepare a buy limit on EUR/USD at yesterday's low with a 20-pip stop and a 2R target. I'll approve it.»

Axi and TraderWAI: what to know

• Axi offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, plus its own Axi Trading Platform. TraderWAI connects your Axi MT4 or MT5 account; Axi Trading Platform accounts are separate and are not connected directly.
• Axi demo accounts expire after 30 consecutive days without a trade; if yours expires, open a new one and update it in TraderWAI.
• Your account number, password and server arrive in Axi's Welcome Email (check spam too). The server assigned to an account cannot be changed, and MT4 and MT5 accounts are separate.
• Use the master password, which you can change in the Axi Client Portal: the investor password is read-only.
• Axi has its own MCP server for Claude with MT5 accounts. TraderWAI also works with MT4, with ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity, and adds risk limits and conditional orders.
