How to connect Cursor to your AvaTrade account

Works in Cursor (Agent).
- In Cursor go to Settings → Tools & MCP → «Add new MCP server».
- Or paste the configuration below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
- Click «Login» / «Connect» next to traderwai and sign in with Google.
- Use the chat in Agent mode and ask for what you need.
2. Connect your AvaTrade account
In TraderWAI, add your AvaTrade account with the platform it uses:

Enter your MetaTrader 5 login (account number), the master password and the server name exactly as it appears in MetaTrader. The account is set up in 1–3 minutes.

3. Ask Cursor
Try one of these in a new chat:
- «Show me the gold H1 chart and tell me where the key levels are.»
- «What positions do I have open and how much am I risking?»
- «Prepare a buy limit on EUR/USD at yesterday's low with a 20-pip stop and a 2R target. I'll approve it.»
AvaTrade and TraderWAI: what to know
- AvaTrade offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, plus its own WebTrader, the AvaTrade App, AvaOptions and AvaSocial. TraderWAI connects your AvaTrade MT4 or MT5 account; the others are not connected directly.
- AvaTrade demo accounts are available for 60 days and then expire; once one has expired, open a new demo and update it in TraderWAI.
- AvaTrade servers are named by number, for example Ava-Real 1 for server 1. Passwords are case sensitive.
