How to connect Cursor to your FXCM account

1. Add TraderWAI to Cursor

Works in Cursor (Agent).

In Cursor go to Settings → Tools & MCP → «Add new MCP server».
Or paste the configuration below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
Click «Login» / «Connect» next to traderwai and sign in with Google.
Use the chat in Agent mode and ask for what you need.

2. Connect your FXCM account

In TraderWAI, add your FXCM account with the platform it uses:

MetaTrader 4

Enter your MetaTrader 4 login (account number), the master password and the server name exactly as it appears in MetaTrader. The account is set up in 1–3 minutes.

FXCM and TraderWAI: what to know

FXCM offers its own Trading Station, MetaTrader 4 and TradingView Pro. TraderWAI connects your FXCM MetaTrader 4 account; Trading Station is not connected directly.
FXCM has a free practice (demo) account, so you can try your AI on a demo first.
Use the MT4 server from the email FXCM sent with your account details. Servers follow the account currency, for example FXCM-USDReal01 or FXCM-EURReal01 for live accounts and FXCM-USDDemo01 for demos.

Does TraderWAI work with FXCM Trading Station?

No. TraderWAI connects FXCM accounts through MetaTrader 4, not Trading Station or TradingView.
